Sports Medicine Staff
Moore Clinic's Sports Medicine Team is one of the most comprehensive sports medicine teams in the state. The Sports Medicine team is led by Dr. Wendell Holmes and Dr. Frank Noojin. Dr. Holmes is currently serving as the Medical Director of Sports Medicine for Providence Hospital's Orthopaedic & NeuroSpine Institute. We are proud to have added two new physicians, Dr. Aran O'Malley and Dr. Craig Burnworth, to extend our weekly medical coverage for sporting events as well as to increase the accesibilty to area athletes. Dr. Kim Chillag, Dr. Earl McFadden, and Dr. Mark Locke also provide sports medicine coverage and patient care to athletes in our community, both young and old.

Athletic Training
In addition to our highly skilled physicians and physician assistants, we also have five certified athletic trainers on staff, four serving in a full time "on the field" capacity:
- Chris Greenleaf MS, ATC, SCAT, CSCS - Athletic Training Coordinator
Chris joined our staff in 2006 coming from a background of 11 years of experience in the field of athletic training including high school, collegiate, and professional team coverage. Just prior to joining our staff, Chris was the Director of an outpatient rehabilitation clinic in Charleston, S.C. for over a year. Chris served as Head Athletic Trainer for Charleston Southern University while also serving as a curriculum instructor for Charleston Southern University's athletic training program. Chris will be working primarily at Dutch Fork High School in a supplemental role.
- Shannon Hill, ATC, SCAT, LMT- Clinical/Outreach Athletic Trainer
Shannon joined our staff in 2006 coming from a background of 4 years of experience in the field of athletic training including high school and professional team athletic training, as well as in an outpatient clinic role. Shannon is also a licensed massage therapist and runs the Massage Therapy program at the Moore Clinic. Prior to becoming an athletic trainer, Shannon worked at the Department of Commerce in Washington, D.C. for 5 years. Shannon will be working as a supplemental athletic trainer at Brookland-Cayce High School.

- Robert Ingle, MS, ATC, SCAT - Clinical/Outreach Athletic Trainer
Robbie joined our staff in 2007 coming from a background of 4 years of experience in the field of athletic training including the high school and collegiate levels. Prior to joining our staff, Robert served as the Head Athletic Trainer at Coker College and then in the Chester County school district. Robbie will be working as the primary athletic trainer at A.C. Flora High School.
- Jim Riser, MS, ATC, SCAT - Clinical/Outreach Athletic Trainer
Jim joined our staff in May of 2008 coming from a background of 25 years of experience in the field of athletic training including high school, college, academics and professional team athletic training. Prior to joining our staff, Jim worked as the Head Athletic Trainer at Newberry College in Newberry, S.C. Jim will be working as the primary athletic trainer at Dreher High School.

Josh Ortegon Ortegon, Athlete’s Arena has worked with the elite high school and collegiate athletes in the Columbia area for 3 years. Not only does Athlete’s Arena provide personal training and sports enhancement services to the ‘cream of the crop’ in high school and college, they also train the weekend warrior and recreational athletes that are just seeking to fine tune their game.
