High School Pre-participation Physicals

It's Pre-Participation Physical Time!  Please be sure to call our clinic or the athletic trainer at your school for any questions about the physical screenings we will be holding.  Also, in order to better accomodate the busy schedules that spring-time brings, we are providing a second high school pre-participation physical opportunity on Saturday, May 17th.  The first date was on Saturday, April 26th, 2008 at Providence Northeast Hospital's Orthopaedic & NeuroSpine Institute where just under 400 student athletes were screened.  The second date (May 17th) will be held at Moore Clinic's surgery center in Lexington.  Registration begins at 8:00am.  The cost of the physical screening is ten dollars ($10) per student-athlete and 100% of that amount will be donated back to each school's athletic training department.  

Please note that any middle or high school student-athlete in the Midlands area is invited to participate in these physical screenings.  If you are not sure if your school is formerly participating with Moore Clinic or Providence Hospital's sports medicine programs, please call (803)227-8159.
