Moore Clinic is proud to serve our student athletes and their families through our "Black and Blue" clinics that are held each Saturday from 8:00am - 11:00am during football season. It is our commitment to see our student athletes within 48 hours of an injury in order to begin the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation process as soon as possible. These clinics allow players with non-emergent injuries during the week (especially Thursday or Friday) to come in and be evaluated by a Sports Medicine physician so that they do not have to wait an entire weekend to be seen. Moore Clinic invades Carowinds! - 7/28/08
-
-
On Saturday, July 19th, over 180 of Moore Clinic's staff and family loaded up and took a trip up to the North Carolina and South Carolina border to enjoy a day of sun and fun at Carowinds Amusement park. Each year, the clinic hosts a summer luncheon for staff and their families to fellowship together and this year Carowinds was the host site! The bus pulled out about 7:45am and arrived at the park just as the gates opened. After a full day of riding rides, lounging in the lazy river, and a buffet-styled complementary lunch, the gang headed back home around 5:00pm. A big thank you to the physicians and staff that supported and coordinated this wonderful day!

The 9th annual Moore Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Golf Tournament was held on June 10th at Woodcreek Farms. This tournament is hosted each year by the Moore Clinic as a token of appreciation for the hard work and dedication area coaches and athletic trainers give to the sports community. The Sports Medicine Invitational is a way of saying “Thank You!” for all that these men and women do. In all, 136 golfers total golfers, ranging from vendors, reps, physicians, therapists, athletic trainers and coaches, were hosted. The weather could not have been any better! All tournament sponsors were extremely generous with their donations and gifts, allowing the clinic to raise upwards of $10,000.00; more money than had ever been raised before. This sets a wonderful standard, and goal to improve on, for the 10th Anniversary tournament (taking place next year). The winners of the tournament were Dr. Noojin’s team with first place in the “Professionals Division” and for the second year in a row, Dutch Fork High School’s coaches took first place in the “Coaches and Athletic Trainers Division.”
